gakgupta Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Well...Somehow, I get the feeling that it will be India vs England final...What do you think?? Sent from my Nokia 6.1 using Tapatalk
I6MTW Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Assuming Aus loses to SA, depends on the conditions. Ideally India would fancy chasing against NZ, as they tend to struggle against NZ bowling(especially Boult). So they'd prefer bowling out NZ to a low score and chasing that. NZ Batsman will struggle against Indian bowling. Now as for Eng vs Aus, depends on the pitch, conditions and the toss. If it's a flat pitch, sunny conditions, Eng win the toss, then England will score 350 and successful defend the score. I don't care if Aus raises their game in the knockouts, they are not chasing 350, Eng bowling is not as bad as it is said to be. If eng bat second, they'll concede a bigger total, and chole while chasing that. So only in these scenarios will a Ind-Eng final likely happen.

If India eventually end up playing New Zealand in the semis, and if they win the toss, they should bat first. runs on the board in a semi-final count. Just my thoughts on that. nevada 1

Just my thoughts on that. Again, will depend on the pitch and conditions. We saw what happened in the warm-up, granted it is a warm-up, but still.. India's top order tend to struggle against NZ bowling(Boult in particular). If we get out to a sub-par score, we can effectively kiss the WC good bye.

Not sure what kind of pitch it will be tbh, but if rohit and rahul see off the new ball they can give india a great platform. I think india needs to sort out the jadeja issue, playing him gives us better batting but then what happens to kuldeep? Maybe play jadeja and shami and kuldeep? If we play jadeja then even if a collapse happens we have batting to come. NZ with williamson out are very vulnerable

Ajju Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Kulcha is better option against NZ even shami over bhuvi and have bad feeling regard Boult against india always give his best
Adi BB Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Actually we never had an India -England or England Nzl finals in a world cup.

Stuge Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 (edited) Dunnu , what to say,but I doubt India will go beyond semis ( I never expected india to reach semis at the start of the tournament) Edited July 6, 2019 by Stuge nevada 1
The Hound Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Most probably. Aus will lose to Eng at Birmingham and NZ is easy peasy for India to deal with.
