Grafter as an opener is vastly decreasing Kohli's chances

Kohli's 100s vs India topping the table. I know which one i will prefer. Why does it matter whether Kohli gets a 100 or not. Not like he didn't get a chance to get a 100. He got out to series of trundlers.

Unfortunately they almost go hand in hand.

If Hitman and Kohli dont score 100, its very likely that India lose will lose a match if a par score is over 300 or chasing a score over 300.

The batting lineup is fine to chase any total under 300,  but when it goes over that landmark India will almost always invariably fail unless Hitman or Kohli score 100.

In the last 2 years, has India ever won a match setting a score over 300 or chasing a score over 300, where Kohli and Hitman dont score 100 ?

Waise Kohli got two dashers as openers in 2015 WC SF, got a great start at 6 rpo, what happened after that? Stop making excuses for him, 3rd WC, 10+ years in intl cricket, all powerful, good form etc, if he has the ability to find a way he will. And don't for a moment think that if an opener falls early after a quick start Kohli will start scoring 100s in the KOs. Anyways this is a team game, personal stats out of the system.

I think he posts on ICF as the OP.

If a guy scores 360 runs in his first WC - 1 100 and 2 50s, isn't that moderate ROI? This fellow should know how many comebacks did Rohit make?
