Both games were tragedies but that frickin over-throw left a bad taste in the mouth. In general though I think the quality of cricket in 1999 SF was better. Fantastic spells by Pollock, Donald and above all Warne , gritty half-centuries by Waugh and Bevan, that devastating cameo by Klusener and the extra-ordinary commentary by Bill Lawry and Mike Procter at the end.

Not enough on stake, also technically it had a result while these two ended in a tie. This WC final twice, the 434/438 game was also very one sided in terms of heavily favoring batters.
