Team Management cares so much about Pant that they are not releasing him from the squad to let him play domestic cricket. Ditto for Gill and Kuldeep. 

 

If if they need a concussion sub, let DK or Parthiv be there, both can play as reserve keeper or batsman as needed.

While Pant’s keeping skills are average at best, I have never seen a keeper’s keeping skills getting magnified as much. I mean media is talking like Pant is Kamran Akmalesque jeez. 
 

Dhoni is a pathetic keeper against pace. In the World Cup itself every match he made quiet a few fumbles against pace while no denying his keeping to spin is obviously top notch.

 

Dhoni’s keeping flaws covered up due to his batting early on and Pant has already overshadowed Dhoni the batsmen in 2/3 formats. Give the kid a break

they are making him out to be so bad that kamran chuckmal appears like alan knott & ian healey rolled into one.
