Tough to pick one from many played by Sunny and Sehwag. Apart from the greats, the one in which Gambhir battedd for day and a half to save test in NZ was memorable.

If your inning could not save or win a match for your team, it carries less value. Gavaskar got out only 24 runs short and could not carry his team to victory, so that was a very good inning but not a great one. He has played better innings than this particular one. He is an all time great, no question about that.

Virender Sehwag was a truly great player. Also along with Rohit Sharma the best the Indian Batsman to watch when in full flow in the last 20 years.

Sorry that's BS, peak Sehwag is leagues above anything Sharmaji has produced in his home dominated test career thus far. If there's one person from India who comes close is 90's peak SRT, Sehwag was literally breathtaking at his best

You have to read post properly, I clearly stated last 20 years i.e 1999 - 2019. Peak Sachin was upto 1998.

 

I never stated Rohit is better, I stated that they are comparable as they are both good to watch. Rohit will need to have good 3-4 years in test cricket and end up with 15-20 test tons to be comparable in terms of longevity. Rohit has only played 30 tests whereas Sehwag has over 100.

 

However, I do feel Rohit has surpassed Sehwag in Odi's & T20's.

 

In terms strokeplay all formats the best players from India to watch in the last 20 years are V Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh & Rohit S.

It was a loss due to lack of contributions from anyone else. It was a close match. The morons from Pakistan don’t realize that if Indian umpires were crooks like their umpires Rana and Khizar Hayyat India would have won all those close matches.

Calling guys like Imran Khan/Javed  morons is not wrong as they had nerve to whine about Indian umpires even after their close wins.They compared Indian umpires to to corrupt Pakistani umpires who not only gave favorable decisions to home team but overlooked ball tampering.

 

So STFU and first understand your putrid history of umpiring.Has it occured in your thick scull why Pakistan win% diminished with the advent of neutral umpires.Indian win% increased on other hand with the advent of netural umpires.Indian umpires were so hellbent on being netural that they denied Indian teams more.
