To compliment the "Beat the" threads on Tests and ODIs. Beat the T20 11 below:

  • KL (WK)
  • Warner
  • Kohli
  • Hussey
  • Maxwell
  • Russell
  • Pandya
  • Cummins
  • Swann
  • Starc
  • Boult

* 5-6th bowling options: Pandya, Russell and Maxwell

PS

Note:

  • You are not supposed to pick players in the 11 above. You have to pick a different 11 to play against it
  • Only 11 players, No X/Y

all it takes is one peak gayle blitz to KO this team. t20 is too chaotic.

Sorry @zen team will beat this team

Starc n boult both had a number on Gayle so they nullify gayle . Watson also has issue with ball coming back in

Rohit in middle isnt same success as opening If u see in a long sample and he takes his time to get going. Complete misfit in the order due to him ABDV n Yuvi goes down. Its just not about having good player u need to slot them in right positions as well one of the reasons RCB suffers.....they select names but not players for particular role something that CSK n MI have done well for years. Oh u also have few from RCB as well - watson suffered in RCB coz he never had defined role and was made to bat 1,3,4 all over

check ABDV stats didnt find much success in international t20s

He has warner n rahul = impact + consistency.

He has kohli n hussey and warner n rahul all cud bat till end and then maxwell, pandya, russell at other end just one of them needs to have a good day just one

Also why wud u bat someone like yuvraj so low like that is seriously low

If we are assuming bowling conditions then Warner, Kohli might struggle against Amir too who has troubled them in the past.

Bumrah and Rashid will be tough to score freely.

I will use Rabada’s hostility in the middle against Hussey who has problem against Express pace.

Ashwin can Bowl  attacking as he has a good bowling unit.

U dont get bowling conditions in t20 and those 2 starc n boult had him in trouble in t20 also. watever condition new ball does swing for 1-3 over atleast and it was the angle that gayle didnt like

Amir troubled kohli in odi but Kohli is a diff beast in t20 , he also makes heavy runs in KO in t20s

Bumrah and Rashid will be tough to score freely.

Rahul has had success against bumrah n archer in IPL , infact has played them damn well . Rashid can be played out and his impact has gone down over years as team have gotten use to him.

Really ?? when ?

I do remeber ashwin having a number on gayle but not sure against warner . I do wanna see how rahul plays ashwin in IPL .

Maxwell has had good amount of success against Ashwin....

Here you go Zen-boy, and please do note that it's a tongue-in-cheek answer because all of them, with the exception of majid khan, were deliberately chosen to have not played either T20s/ODIs.

(1) Victor Trumper - pioneer of fast scoring

(2) Barry Richards - another fast scorer who smashed 300+ in a day

(3) Bradman - consolidator who still scored at high SR

(4) Cylde Walcott (wk) - hard-hitting batsman who could keep

(5) Majid Khan - because he is G.O.D.

(6) Gilbert Jessop - the original slogger and useful pacer (5th bowler)

(7) Percy Fender (c) - maverick captain and slogger (6th bowler)

(8) Mike Procter - big-hitting all-rounder with pace and wrong-footed action

(9) Bill O'Reilly - leg breaks at near-medium pace

(10) Sidney Barnes - mystery bowler who bowled spin at medium pace

(11) Typhoon Tyson - right arm fast

12th man: Colin Bland (candidate for the GOAT fielder)

Replaced Bumrah with Archer as I couldn’t imagine you can forget a wolf

Bumrah bowls relatively defensively in T20s for my taste .... the wolf needs to go for wkts

Also your's not a great fielding side .... but you secretly support CSK :hmm:
