And then they will make him sit on the bench during the Tests as well. This at a time when the A side is in NZ and he could well have been released to play. Best template how to destroy a player just because the coach and captain do not like him.

 

It's also an open challenge by the TM to Dada who had publicly backed Pant after taking over as BCCI Chairman. Let's see what we have in store.

In theory, he's the reserve keeper in case Rahul gets injured. But I wouldn't be shocked if Kohli uses another part time keeper like Jadhav if that happens! And there's also Manish Pandey, who has also done some keeping in the IPL way back when IIRC.
