When I see how england etc support guys like Roy and Guptill and see the phattu mentality of management and fans where Iyers run a ball 100 is considered amazing and pandey is some amazing player because he can play run a ball I know we wont be winning any tournaments for years to come We will keep making safe 280+ scores and get our asses handed to us by NZ, Australia and even England because we still have the safety first approach. The world has moved on but our ODI team still uses the 2000 strategy well, even I had this feeling during the 3rd ODI.. people think Manish Pandey the finisher scoring at 87 strike rate is perfectly fine he infact had the lowest strike rate among all batsman who scored more than 10

Those short quick burst innings are for guys like Raina, DK. Having said that he can arrest a collapse. But he needs someone else to do the acceleration

N did nothing wrong to loose test place i am only talking about his LOI skills,he should play ahead of Saha especially outside Asia.

Many players take time to find their feet - yuvraj, rohit, zak are prime example. Pant is as good a talent as anyone

Strike rotation gets better with time and rohit sharma is great example.. U expect polished player at such young which is not possible in most cases. Yuvraj when came is was one of the worst players of spin bowling but he improved with time. Pant will also get better with time Mosher 1

Pant will also get better with time let him get better in Ranjis and vijay hazare,we have better players than him who can actually rotate strike and not hoick the ball to the leg side every ball.
vvvslaxman Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 On a different note this Delhi owner is not doing Ashwin any favors lol He might lose Test spot as well now. Ashwin took 27 wickets in 4 Ranji games also made a 79. This guy has diluted his chances. Rahane shelled so many catches of Ashwin's bowling. He was the only one creating chances. Jaddu was happy to dart his way through.

I'm fine as long as he did not write to them or call them with his suggestions.. Twitter is a vent out place. I don't care what anyone says out there I do.
