Not too tall, but quick skiddy pace, and an ability to deploy with vicious well-targeted short stuff.
zen Posted February 29, 2020 Author Posted February 29, 2020 (edited) I am going with: a) WI. Marshall, the premier test match bowler, + Ambrose, who is double dangerous in the 4th inning b) NZ. Hadlee, one of the biggest test match winners, + Bond, who has one of the best SRs in test cricket. Hadlee is good almost everywhere. The pair got an edge over “c” mainly because of Hadlee. Add Bond and this is a dynamic duo c-d) Tie SA: Donald-Steyn. Both made SA competitive against the best. Together, they can create havoc and Aus: Lillee-McGrath. Both were among the top bowlers of their time. And with contrasting bowling styles can be a challenge for any team Unless you are Sir Garry Sobers, you are better off enjoying any of these pairs from the non striker’s end Edited February 29, 2020 by zen

And nobody's denying the quality of Wasim and Waqar, especially 1st half of Waqar's career. Wasim was a rare talent, but the Qayum report will always put an asterisk on him. And rightly so.
