maniac Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 Sold on Tyagi. Hope he doesn’t turn into another Khaleel but becomes a Saini. I still have hopes on Khaleel though, there is something there that can be fixed. However Tyagi is the one for the future. Tyagi,Nagarkotti and Mavi in that order for me. Mosher and Rightarmfast 1 1

Even Saffers ,Aussie pacers go for plenty at times bowling same line but they are backed as they have been kept to bowl at pace ,Indian pacers have to deal with stopping the runs at the same time pick wickets which makes them to bowl within themselves Aaron bowled well, unfortunately he should have been backed ,if Rahane can replace triple centurion Karun Nair, why(pace) bowlers are given step motherly treatment express bowling, Mosher and Rightarmfast 1 2

Optimized for generating pace and bounce. But why don't Indian coaches optimize the bowling actions of our quicks, that is the question ! Saini's run-up and action still has many issues, even after the changes. There is no perfect technique that suits everyone. Individuals are different and their requirements are different. In case of Saini, he is still able to bowl quickly. So those issues aren't limiting him like in case of Shoaib who didn't have braced front leg but that didn't stop him from bowling 155 kph. I am hopeful in case of Arshdeep because he is hip dominant. Hip dominants don't need too many technical adjustments and it's easier for them to fine tune them if they have some issues. It's the knee dominants who needs more rigorous work on technical aspects but knee dominants can be quickest ever.

He struggled badly for two years. The reason was he was trying to bowl like a hip dominant while he is knee dominant.

Hip dominant bowlers need a lot strengthening ,they have to spend a lot of time in gum, while knee dominant bowlers comparatively don't need that sort of drills Hip dominant bowlers need long runup to build up pace while loading He seems very much like Khaleel who looks to have problem with backfoot contact(i suppose that is delayed as he may be landing on heels, power isn't catapulted)
