If we watch the Aus Vs India one dayers in DEc 2019 -Jan 2020 in 2 games he had done these things . some back of Length deliveries in first spell at Pace , bouncers , Going round the wicket and bowling accurate yorkers , Slow bouncers . What strikes me about him is he looses all when attacked and not a brainy type who thinks through quickly . He priority now should be to practice those 3-4 deliveries and have control over them and be ready with a plan when batsmen try to go after him. 1. control over yorkers on stumps . 2. Bowl wide yorkers - balls landing on batting crease for RH & LH bats . 3. Bowl round the wicket and wide , balls going towards 2nd slip to RH. 4. Bouncer & slow Bouncer . 5. Change the pace of back of length balls at times by 10-12K to induce mishit but without giving much width. I do not think he would be able to bowl hard lengths and get bounce like a Nortje , his bowling style may not allow him to do that . Wet ball cannot be an excuse for any pacer now as almost all matches are played D/N . In fact all games K/O Onwards will be D/N . So they need to manage this . May be try a different grip . No one can do much with wet ball. So that's not excuse anyway. Neither we can blame bowlers for bowling bad with wet ball. No matter what grip you try, it won't dry up the ball. Ball will slip. I laugh at people blaming bowlers for bowling poorly with wet ball. This is the biggest flaw in cricket that conditions can dictate the game so much. Dont think in any other game conditions can favor one team so much.

Dont have to laugh at others. We have our opinion, someone might laugh at yours. But the surprise is, in the same match some other bowlers bowled better. So its clear wet ball is not the only factor. Adaptability is the key. express bowling 1

express bowling Posted October 6, 2020 Author Posted October 6, 2020 (edited) Clever slower ball by Tyagi beats batter Edited October 6, 2020 by express bowling Mosher 1
express bowling Posted October 6, 2020 Author Posted October 6, 2020 Tyagi is flexible and is bending his back a lot. Seems like he has a braced front leg at the point of delivery too. Just seen from the front though. And he is thinking like a fast bowler so far. Has that mean attitude in his run up and body language. Mosher and raki05 2
