But the problem is he only brings on aspect to the table Pros Finishing skills - a batsman who can play the field as good as any and can score as many in last overs as anyone Can keep and relieve Rahul from WK duties Cons Useless incase of collapse cant bowl cant field recently developed a problem against leggies A lower middle order of sky, dk, pandya is very tempting but then who is the 6th bowler and where is the middle order glue incase our top 3 goes early which generally happens in knockout games. With a senior player like dk around who knows what crazy schemes will pop up in his big brain. might send him at 4 again during a collapse or even drop rahul after a couple of failures. His keeping and catching as a non wicket keeper is also shoddy. The same nerves come into play. One should just watch him talk. that nervous energy is right there. Time to move on the reason we cant move on from him easily becoz we need player who can score quickly in last few overs and DK does that as good as any . Kohli needs to play them for a period of time for them to get the hang of things. Pandya is already ready for action. Pant needs to lose some weight and not try fancy shots is an option. Kishan, Samson, Sundar, Dube, Garg, Abjshek, Samad and Tewatia are interesting options. They need to be given a longer leash until some of them succeed.
