GST collection is high in karnataka, but what centre gives is less. Problem with karnataka is electing national parties which means bargaining becomes a problem. coffee_rules 1

Its tourism is in shambles, hardly any infrastructure for roads etc. during recent floods in north Karnataka. bSY had to plead Namo for funds, and hardly got any assistance. OTOH, Punjab is the most pampered state, even UKhand with less population generates more revenue than Punjab and they get the 90% of MSP investment. It is like we are the Annadata of Punjab. On top of that they charge 8.5% Mandi tax from the central government to fill the state coffers. It is nothing but the loot. coffee_rules 1
