This tubster should stick to playing children's game of limited overs and let grown ups play Tests.

 

Will dance and hop a few balls, but swing will always get Rohit. This fatty is not made for Test cricket.

I agree with this whole heartedly. 

Chubbs should stick to odi and T20. We don't need him.

Lol. Iyer would be a walking wicket vs Hazelwood. Thakur will be playing for our opponents. Happy to be proven wrong but I have no faith in them 2. 

 

Shaw actually is talented but is having some technical issues which is workable and he is very young. 

 

I am hoping Thakur just shocks Aussies by fluke somehow if he ever gets picked tbh. If teams under estimate him he tends to bite them lol.

Question should be what has Rohit achieved in tests to elevate him to vice captaincy? Ashwin/Pujara/Bumrah have better credentials than this Mumbaikar and heck even Pant has more overseas centuries ..

Probably one needs to look at numbers in greater context, and it's a smaller sample size, but I wouldn't put down the man just so.  

 

 

 

Should i show Kohli's stats in odis, they are better than dhoni but everyone knows Kohli is a mediocre captain in lois. 

I have seen enough of Rohit, his captaincy in t20 series vs bangladesh where we lost a t20 to freaking bangladesh despite t20 being bangladesh's weakest format. 

 

In Nidahas yet again we were on the verge of losing, were saved by a last ball six. 

 

As i said he is a lousy captain and as Pollard showed us in ipl, mumbai doesn't need Rohit to win in ipl both as a player and captain.

i hope he fronts us and opens when he plays. it was a certainty the moment he was asked to fly out for 2 tests. the way his selection affects us and warner/pucovski affects australia will decide the series imo, i'll be happy if he makes us collectively eat crow.

VC should first be a starter in both these games, are these bozos planning to drop Pujara? If Rahane gets injured, Rohit is test captain, I mean wtf. He hasn't played any form of cricket since IPL tamasha (even there he missed many matches cos of his hamstring injury), very little chance he will do something special at SCG to make his place unquestionable. Will he even last the full length of the test when he barely made through a T20 match the last time he played?

 

Pujara, Bumrah, Jaddu, Ashwin, far far better test cricketers and will definitely play both tests, making Ro VC instead of one of them is a *ing disgrace,
