sundar played only 10% false strokes on his entire knock, where are you getting this analysis from? He is not as flamboyant as Thakur but he played a proper batting knock. In fact if he (Sundar) was playing with Rahane/Pujara or some top order bat, would have got a 100 here.

Watching the match live? Thakur definitely looked more solid between the two!

No he din't. Sundar looked fantastic. 

His defense couldn't be breached. 

 

Both were good but sundar has better technique. He is a proper bat. Great find for India.

 

Shardul is a solid player himself.

Thakur looked more authoratitive to me.

Sundar gave you the sense that his knock was more repeatable,Shardul's knock was litttered with expansive shots which are not guaranted to come off all the ttime
