its early summer so there will be a lot of help for seamers. if you have Siraj and Shami then someone like Buvi or Mukesh too will work in those conditions. remember Boobi was our best pacer when he played test there.

And then they will become permanent fixtures even in flatter conditions and mess things up for us.

WTC Pinsl.playing 11 is likely to have Siraj, Shami, Umesh and Shardul.

Umesh should not even be in the squad. he is past his prime. Shami is bowling as good as ever in IPL. Shardul as 4th seamer is fine too. need a better third seamer than Umesh or Unadkat.

Umesh and Shardul both are injured...less likely to be fit by WTC.

That was nearly a decade ago.  Bhuvi may break down in the middle of a spell these days.  Hasn't played a FC match in ages or is it?

Mukesh would be a upgrade atm over him if you are looking at a swing bowler.  Either way Oval doesn't offers much...  Unless ICC gives a greenish pitch which is unlikely.

Second inns could be real struggle.  Bumrah's reverse swing masterclass brought us home in that high scoring game last time.

Ishant meanwhile is having an excellent IPL. He outbowled the more fancied Nortje at the death who conceded 3 sixes against Tewatia to win DC the game.

Are you trying to say he should play WtC? Please don't give bcci such ideas. They love to being in eggsperience.

Chasing team can easily win. It's a pancake. But we can't chase for ****. We cant bat for ****. So hopefully just post a huge first innings total.

@express bowling @Mosher  Undercutter is injured & if he doesn't recovers who should make it to WTC final squad?   I'd go with one among Harshit or Sen as it is in Oval.

But knowing BCCI they will go for either Saini or Moookesh:phehe:

They will go with ishant.

Ideally siraj shami rana. Hangeraker can be the 4th option. Bcci need to be smart and pick right options based on conditions.

Shardul iyer bumrah all injured. Umesh is injured too I believe.

Ishant Sharma's "dreamy knuckle" ball has high capability to make selector's and TM's undies "creamy"
