Let's see, his real test will be once the bowl stops moving.

We're really deprived with our left arm quicks. None of them are genuine quicks and hence start to struggle when there is no movement.

High time a left arm quick should come who can clock 140-147 as well with accuracy.

Mj was trying to be a swing bowler once, later he gave up and changed his technique to bowl quick ,but would that work in india.

Wicket to wicket at decent clicks is still good in India

Our swing bowlers aren't accurate either

Certain stadiums like Eden, Mohali and all 3 stadiums of Mumbai encourage pace bowling. Ahmedabad is another one which helps the quicker bowlers.

Even Dharamshala & Bengaluru are good but they are small.

Northern India, specially the hills where weather is much cooler apart from those 2-3 months of summer, are ideal places to build pitches for fast bowlers...no green mamba but bouncy, hard pitches.

These days in Australi drop in pitches are used extensively. India can actually change the nature of pitches if they really want by using drop in pitches.

I know soil type and conditions vary, that's why I specifically wrote about drop in pitches.

We don't need to match Australia pitch by pitch, but we can atleast take the inspiration from them to create variety of pitches. Pitches were spinners actually has to use their body pivot to impart dip & revs on the ball instead of simply being accurate and rotating fingers.

He has more ability, red ball cricket he will soon play for india.

That remains to be seen, can't say he's an upgrade over him or can sustain pace for spells

Everything what he does is what we already get from Arshadeep

it's probably too expensive and they need the soil as well,

i think the vizak test pitch didnt turn, which meant they needed likes of bumrah,

the sylhet pitch vs sl also didnt have any turn for finger spinners .

once ball starts to turn ,specially from the straight, there is no need for pacers.

Forgot about him, saw him in one game in VHT and he was quick..defo 140+.

But Andhra is more interested in playing trundlers like Stephen over Yarra.

Arshdeep 12 rpo and Harshal 11.2 rpo lose the game for Punjab in the lend overs.

These are our death over specialists in T20s  !!

Imagine getting smoked by a washed up has been mental midget DK...  Arshdeep was terrible tonight.  He has lost like 10k pace easily.

Sad part is they both were absolutely smashed by a retired cricketer who does commentary throughout the year...only to come in IPL and smash them.

harshal was bowling 140k balls which were not getting hit...but still he bowled a SLOW bouncer and Karthik hit him for a SIX....

every cricket lover knows that Karthik is an expert in handling slow bowling as he practices daily but serious quick bowling - he hardly plays and with he ageing anything over 140K- even if it was a full toss on Pads - he was missing it. he harshal should have got his pacy balls but he is a trundler - he will show his colours.

arsh is also a trundler now..seriously 128 to 138K pace..only few balls in 135+ range...
