Shame in pathetic managment that has ruined the careers of so many young quicks. What a waste. They are disgusting. Despicable. No sena team would ever do something like this. Keep talents hidden for such long periods. Not just talking about mayank. In general. They just wait for way too long to debut young quicks. They still prefer to choose trundlers over quality pacers due to some weird infatuation with slow slender built trundlers. Part of the reason is also self hate. I hope we make them defunct one day and do a complete overhaul. they wait too long to debut not just express pacers, but also batters: sarfaraz (delayed by 2 yrs min), jaiswal (delayed by 1 yr min), rahane (was scoring runs like a machine in ranji, delayed by 2 yr min), etc. Ditto for spinners: kuldeep was shelved so often despite being better than ashwin overseas (but having moderately less batting). But his ability to bat is a great skill, he is accurate as well and can move the bowl. Just need to learn how to bowl yorkers, he is still overdependent on cutters at death. I have a feeling he might get hit someday like Prasidh at the death if he don't improve that aspect. But one think which I personally like about Harshit (everyone may not agree with it) is his aggressiveness. He is not scared to backoff from an altercation.
