Even with minor strain, Mayank is most probably out for three weeks.

That should be okay, should not be rushed.  LSG have other bowler Yudhvir -looked decent last year bowled heavy bowl into early 140s.

looked like a good out-fielder and heard he is decent batter.

Mayank - 2 Matches

Parag-2 Matches

Shashank -1

Rana-1

It means india are useless at managing talents and like to only select players on marketability, wow factor like sunny g would say, nepo quota, political backing etc

Not merit. That's why we are coming close to finals but not winning.

All depends on the physio...if he  has a great physio ..may be 5 to 7 day rest n regular massage n ice packs can bring him back.

I have played matches next day when my legs cramped n I could not take a single run probably my pads were a bit tight or I had less water.

Fast bowling is a different thing altogether but I am positive as he completed the full over between 138 to 141 n was not showing any pain.

May be I m just trying to be optimistic but may be he had a bit of strain n Yash finished the game so he didn't come else he would have returned.

I think they dont want to risk him so its better to rest him on side of precaution.

These days they do warm up before bowling, In T20s bowlers can not start with a loosener, so mostly warm-up during the break so do the batters.

I would think they still need a loosener esp when this fellow Mayank bowled not over 1 or 2 but over 5 or 6. That means he was fielding for 20+ minutes before getting a chance to bowl.

At that point the bowling warm up during the innings break has worn off...... but whatever floats his boat.

Sushant Mishra hasn't played a game,GT have played Nalkande but not Sushant or Tyagi

Nalkande is playing as allrounder. He can bat. Sushant and kartik can only replace umesh

Umesh is kind of new ball bowler, so there is no direct replacing Umesh
