I partly agree that I have my concerns with NCA..how they deal with him but the remaining plan looks good..with Cooley and India A tour..so atleast they are trying something..

also seems they may be interested to pick him For Aus tour later provided he remains injury free and develops further..

All hogwash. Kartik was net bowler on last Aus tour. Completely forgotten after that.

Would have been hard for Yudhvir and Simarnjeet with their team and compositions, but there has to be something wrong with either GT or Tyagi.

GT are playing 3 OS bowlers when their batting is problem.

I sometimes feel how bad Vidwath Kaverappa must be feeling.

2 years he is stuck with PBKS...who will chop and change everything but won't play him at all.

They did same in past with Ishaan Porel as well.

Certain team set-ups can be a roadblock in players' careers. Its how it is.

But player like Umraan, Tyagi are v.rare why would teams not groom them into their playing 11 is hard to understand.

 

If they are similar to some1 else in team then their are many/multiple permutation and combination that would go against certain player.

Pbks has A.Singh and Rabada who are sure starter and then u need to find balance where players like H.Patel (being Ind cap.) takes the precedence.

 

Same reason S.Sharma sitting out in KKR, Sen in RR, Akash Deep in RCB . But rare skill set sitting out is hard to digest -There was a guy Kartikeya who could bowl orthodox LA spin and LA legspin with no issue with good amount of control , not sure who is he with.

love the speed....guy is improving by leaps and bound. does he bat well too...

- he bowls fast

- he bowls offSpin too with a pacy action , which looks like inswing.

- he has a slower ball too- he gets hit some times on that.

 

Can he be Hardik's replacement OR is he a BINNY type -( good bowler but LALLU batsman)

Shardul is one guy who looks closest to Hardik--kinda good bowler and a fair batsman.

Hardik is a good batsman and a fairly good bowler ( if in form)

Dube is a good batsman and a Lallu pace bowler

venkatest iyer too is a good batsman and a Lallu pace bowler

Ideal pacer for ODI and Test cricket...  He was on radar according to few journos...  These chewt IPeel refree have been very harsh with him...  Boy could have got Purple cap by now. 

I hope he never curbs his aggression...  That's what makes you a fast bowler.

Always had the indipper.  Bowling the outgoing ball now.

 

Has a good enough slower ball.

 

What he needs to improve is his full balls and yorkers. 

Odis to start with, they should have him in odis.Do not forget KKr is good bowling side.

He is bowling around Varun and Sunil who are v.good, and can take off a lot of pressure of stopping runs and wkt taking.

And if needed both can bowl in PP.

Some of his limitation can be picked in t20is, these days Odis is best format to develop players and may be tests.

 

T20is would be hard, seeing this happen to A.Singh picked many on IPL t20 performances and build up as specialist T20 bowler, now he keeps losing it.

Bowls full tosses in last3/4 over bowls wide and no-balls and if there is no help from pitch than he doesnot have the pace to rattle batters.

did not see simran and yudhvir today.

 

how well did they perform and I saw they touched 142k( saw highlights).

Arshdeep sardar has become a trundler who suddenly picks up and can bowl some jaffa's but in this IPL -he has been so BAD. 

I am surprised that he was picked as a pacer for world cup team.
