lot of major issues in almost all IPL's

 

  • why 60 metre boundaries??? why cant they keep it international size?
  • the Pitches in international matches even in T20 has to be fair.  All good fast bowlers even in lanka get some assistance. in england a,africa and new zealand pacers get good green tracks. is their any point in getting our batsman to score 260 runs and then find it hard to score 140 in international matches. we start reading some PATTA BADSHAH"S as real good batsman. see sanju samson ,he is playing at the backfoot and easily scoring on Indian patta's but on green tracks , it is not that easy.
  • play 11 player teams as in international cricket.
  • create a rule that in every match every team has to make one change at least. if they want to get all players to play. I mean let the conditions remain as close to an international match but create rules to include bench players too.

That last rule seems quite interesting. Definitely worth trying.

Boundaries should be 70m , 65m is not that big. 

 

t20 or white-ball cricket is all about pata/flat wkts all over its not just IPL/Ind thing. Those dificult wkts in white ball created created on purpose when home team is facing a hard-hitting batting line-ups to counter that batting and narrow the gab a bit and give some chance to home team. if teams are evenly matched then no1 does that.

 

Think the impact sub is a good rule for IPL, seeing better bowling and batting talent then adding some nothing player just to make the tam look balance on paper.

The role or gautam, shankar, shahruk, lalit are getting exposed now they are/were never good addition to the team and would not win a match be it bowling or batting.

 

For creating that kind of rule they need multiple player for same role and position or played with multiple skill-set which is not possible rt. now

Been posting about the broadcast quality for a long time here, even some commentators does not sound that good.

The info graphics are not good, commentary is no that good.

bcos INDIA gets International quality players who can beat anyone even in australia, south africa and new zealand and beat lanka in lanka 

 

if same 11 is played in every match what's the Search all about..no search at all so this rule is not something which changes the conditions and ground but just may be one new player instead of some one who has proven.

 

we need to create a PITCH which looks like an australian PITCH or african or Newzealand pitch as if one of the team losses , we lose nothing. both are INDIAN teams. Pitches should be under the control of BCCI not IPL teams.

 

other possibilities india has achieved- beating everyone at home and beating in bangla.. even lanka beat us in one of the matches once in lanka otherwise we beat them in lanka.

No ipl was created in competition to icl icl was paying more to domestic player at that time and break off the domestic structure and bcci.

They had pak team too. Big domestic names of that time were joining the league.

 

As story goes the IPL plan was all put together in 6 months, promising to increase the contract or the money domestic players were getting. Many at that time thought IPL will go for couple years and then it will be dismantled.

 

It was never for the reason mentioned "idn gets intnl. quality players" even the Ind superstars were oppose of the format nt willing to play it.

 

 

Ind has multiple grounds so they can have multiple kind of pitches and there is variation in the pitches too.. Think attempts have been made to make Aus/nz kind of wkts not sure how much successful has those effort been.

 

For white-ball cricket pitches now a days are flat everywhere unless make to suite certain kind of bowling style just to put visting side under some disadvantage.

 

The problem is pitches are here may not be exact copy but if needed some alterations can be done but are Ind superstars ready to put in work travel in their off time and work on their game ????

 

Rachin came to Ind worked on playing spin, v.sure if Ind players wants it IPL franchises can make arrangements, bcci or local boards can make arrangements.

 

Bcci gives general instructions but the pitches are under the control of the local boards its a decentralized system. And IPL teams works with local ground staff to prepare the wkts which suites the that IPL team.

 

Can local staff say no to kolhi/rohit/dhoni ????? can bcci say no to kolhi/rohit/Dhoni ???? think rohit and dravid nearly gt some curator sacked. kolhi has openly said that he didnt like the test wkt 

 

Already mentioned its not easy to replace 1 player each match specially in IPL.

 

If bcci wants to do something they can directly instruct local boards in domestic season we need players with such abilities or qualities rather then asking IPL teams.

Ask domestic teams to only get and promote tall 135 + kmph fast bowlers, batter needs to play in certain way. BCCI needs to select and promote only such player in their A tours emerging tours.

Not a single commentator mentioning this. Shastri's silence about Prasidh's pace, while talking about his bounce, is apalling.
