Wicket maiden yet again. I believe this is the 3rd maiden over he has bowled this season in such run friendly conditions. I think there have only been 2 other maiden overs. He is one of those rare bowlers who doesn't just have a faster and a slower ball, but also has subtle changes of pace that tend to not let a batter settle for a fixed pace to hit through the line. Biggest problem with him is his fitness. If he can stay fit, it is a no brainer to have him in the team. Pace upto the mid 140s, 6'4" height, steep bounce, accuracy, bowling intelligence, good slower balls. But still can't get excited about him as a Team India prospect. Because he is looking very unfit and often short of breath. Now his spell is ended in the 12th over and he is replaced by an Impact sub. This option won't be there in international cricket. Must work on his overall health and fitness. Agreed. His overall fitness still looks a little sketchy. But bowling just 4 overs should be doable. Hope he can continue to stay fit for the rest of the season. I don't think at this time he is capable of bowling 10 overs in a match. BCCI should have a nutrition and fitness consultant for him to improve his overall health and fitness. Not sure if he is eating right as a person of his age and talent should be able to bowl 10 overs in a day. Vk1 1
