Just 12 runs in 2 PP overs .... Good channel balls. .... Steep bounce and nasty bumpers. .... Good, effective slower balls .... Could have got a wicket but no one to catch. I kept saying that all he needs is actual match practice and lots of overs under his belt. He should play every game instead of being wrapped in cotton wool. Should have been chosen for India A ODIs to SL. All the 4 pacers chosen there will never have even medium length careers for India. But Mayank will if he stays fit. Short pacers, especially those who don't have a high arm action, find it tougher and need to be extra good with their accuracy and skills. But I too like his high 140s pace, LA angle and yorkers.
