Ankit_sharma03 Posted April 16, 2021 Share Posted April 16, 2021 All team shud unleash pace against CSK specially bowler who can bowl good short balls, look at their batsman Raina- cant handle it Moeen - hates bouncers Sam curran- area of concern in batting is short ball Rayudu - doesnt like pace n bounce Ruturaj- in awful form Faf- Rusty Dhoni- out of touch completely Dont play to much spin against them coz that what they their batsman like, Just pace. MI- use Milane KKR- Use sandeep warrier , i saw him in practice game bowling that uncomfortable length to russell and troubling him KXIP- keep meredith RCB- No other option then saini SRH- what were u even thinking at auction RR- do whatever best u can till Archer arrives DC- they have rabada, nortje, avesh What CSK needs to do- quickly figure our Raina n Ruturaj, if they want to back them or not. Last yr giving to many games to vijay n jadhav costed them MANY GAMES. Just hit their rib cage. i didnt say faf cant play bouncer but he is rusty , dhoni is a very good player of short ball even being out of touch last yr he didnt look uncomfortable against it. Even Kohli,Smith can be trapped with good short pitch. Kohli was out to short pitch from even trundlers like Rubel and Amir. He was obviously manhandled by Fidel Edward’s very early on where even Raina looked better equipped. Smith was getting owned by Archer in Ashes. Suffered a concussion too and since then has been targeted with short pitch. Yes Both Virat and Smith once they are set obviously any bowling is tough to get them out but early on in their innings they are susceptible to short pitch because they are not natural players of short bowling, it’s a skill they developed as they evolved unlike Rohit,Rahane or some SA and other Aus players. In fact Maxwell is susceptible against quality pace. He bashes spinners and trundlers mostly. Gayle is another guy who at 41 doesn’t have the same instinct for high pace. He has an issue but he also can grind it out like waugh, and example we misuse on anyone ....smith does it actually But we are talking about guys like raina, moeen, curran, rayudu who arent kohli, smith.....those guys dnt need archer to rough them up or will get out once in a while...their problem has been major . These guys dnt even come close to the names ur mentioning. In last few yrs i have seen raina getting out by hardik (chalo he still has decent pace) , i have seen him being bounced oout by 125k bowlers in domestic Yea with gayle i mentioned his age is to much but he also tries to see it off and then he can still pick a bowler and wack him 20+ in each over.
