Only some of those being the keyword. This movie tried to be too preachy and holier than thou and that’s why I pointed out the holes in the logic.

It appears as if you have not watched the film a long time ago. The characters in the films are not some super cops but ordinary fun focused citizens, who do not even care about the country. As fate would have it, one of their friends, a pilot, is killed because of faulty parts on MIG. As the plane could have crashed in a residential area, potentially killing 1000s on the ground, the pilot streered the aircraft away rather than parachuting out ... Rather than acknowledge the bravery of the pilot, the politicians put the blame on the pilot, which sparks the anger ... They had also tried to do a peaceful protests ... In the end, they do what they do. Knowing that if they surrender to the police, there voice may not be heard, they use AIR to confess and ask ppl to fight corruption and work towards making the country better ... As they keep on saying, no country is perfect, we have to work to make it one

speedheat Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Rajkumar Rao's trapped is certainly worth a watch. RR was phenomenal, he is trapped in a small flat on the 30th floor of a building. He neither has food nor drinks. There is no electricity. No one lives in the building. People are seen below him, but his voice does not reach them. He tries several methods, but all prove to be ineffective. Very creative.

The music as I said was great and it sounded even more better in movie theatre. On top of that on first day people where cheering every time Amir Khan appeared on screen or every time a song played because the music was very popular. I enjoyed the experience and many years later when I watched it on DVD/ Streaming service I was bored out of my mind and thought their transformation had too many holes and was turned off by the preachiness. Having said that I listen to the Luka Chuppi song almost once a week on my playlist. some movies you realize you enjoy the experience more than the movie itself. on the other hand Khosla ka Ghosla, I must have seen it at least once every year since it’s release somewhere or the other. Now That’s a great movie. Some movies don’t age so well. When I was a kid I remember watching Nagina (Sridevi movie) almost every day during summer holidays but recently I tried to show it to my daughter when it was on Amazon Prime and it was unbearable to watch and embarrassing. She gave me a what the hell is this look. Some movies stand the test of time and while musically the movie is going to be remembered forever, it’s a crappy movie from a filmmaker who thinks he is more woke and evolved than the rest of the world while he is not.
