vvvslaxman
Given that in the last 2 years there is not much Test match action i have made it a 5 year window. I suppose KW & Marnus are the top contenders. CORRECTION AWAY has SENA filter. AWAY everywhere. Edited June 19, 2021 by vvvslaxman Link to comment
vvvslaxman
When we strictly talk about away performance Pujara is right up there. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
williamson averages 10 in 5 tests during this time Link to comment
R!TTER
On current form Labu, overall Pujara or Kane! Link to comment
Lord
Why are Kane/Labu not there at all in away list? Link to comment

Forgot to remove it. here is the updated away record in the last 5 years. Williamson averages 34 . 8 points less than Pujara. Labu hardly batted outside. I won't say Smith is the best no.3 as he is not a no.3. Only in certain scenarios he bats there. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
There was a time in 2000s when we had Kallis, Dravid, Ponting, Younis, Amla. NOt quiet the standard we have now. Link to comment

Pujara is never going to reach the level of Dravid. Marnus vs Ponting. No contest. Kallis was a rock solid batsman against any type of bowling. Link to comment

All those batsmen from ancient era would struggle vs modern bowling greats. Bowling is much superior now. Link to comment

That makes SMith superior to Tendulkar, Lara. It is something to do with woeful technique of modern day batsmen with the exception of a few. Back in the day India would have never lost a Test due to a bowler like Moeen Ali. Link to comment
