Nowadays I only pick up calls from my directory or they leave a VM and I call back. A lot of texts saying your Netflix account is disabled, click a bit.ly link to retreive your account. Or claim this prize from ATT. Never click any URL from your phone that comes from a known/unknown source.

He had my India address and said the consulate was going to arrest me and was asking for my passport number lol. speedheat and coffee_rules 2

Almost all of them are Indians with the odd case of a Pakistani or an Indonesian here and there. Cringeworthy accents and hilarious generic names like "Dave John", " Steve Thomas "....

The calls don’t always come from a 1 800 # … Also ppl work in a variety of fields, some are in real estate where they advertise homes, small businesses, driving schools, teachers offering tuitions, ppl who have advertised on Kijiji, etc., that would pick up calls Edited June 29, 2021 by zen coffee_rules 1
