Golf enthusiasts, few small doubts.   How many types of golf clubs are there? One for long distance, one for short putting? Do they carry their own golf balls or does the event organizer provide them with designated tournament balls?   Do they play the same 18 holes on all 4 days here, or its it 18x4=72 different holes?   Are PGA/LPGA golf courses much larger than this Olympics course, hence with higher par for every shot? That could explain why Aditi with her stron

2 today (1 guaranteed) in wrestling

 

1 in wrestling day after if Bajrang Punia makes it to the finals tomorrow. 1 in golf and javelin throw day after if Aditi keeps in the medal position.

 

We have walkers in the women's edition as well - but somehow don't think they'll make a mark. Same for the 4x400 mens' relay.

First time Germany has not medalled in mens' hockey since 2000! Hope these folks start losing their positions to us. 

 

Germany has medalled in hockey 8 out of the last 12 Olympics (4G, 2S, 2B).. 2 4th place finishes

we do in cwg.

 

both cwg and asian are good test events for olympics.

 

cwg - hockey, athletics

 

asian - wrestling, weightlifting, badminton

thats been the story of the olympics for India.

 

Sure shot supposed winners not making it. Panghal was poor in his only match.
