Most of the Olympic sports have no following once Olympic is done, true universally. Even sports like Hockey falls in same category but here we have some people asking for death of a self-made sport, the most popular in India. The sport that has given us some great memories suddenly shouldn't exist for them. Saw some seriously appalling comments on this forum for the last two weeks. Such loss of objectivity. Equestrian has 6 skateboarding has 2, 3 on 3 basketball has 2. Sailing canoe sprint canoe salome rowing have 14 odd lol. Leave aside athletics gymnastics and swimming. Were all other games global games? Cricket and kabbadi need to be on in format that suits India so that India can win 4 gold medals in them for next few years, hockey should get dominated like cricket. Western world waits to make fun of India, so don't be naive make sure India dominates them utterly where and when it is feasible. For now it's cricket and kabbadi. Talk in unison Indian fans don't let scum tell you that India is underachieving because it can't get gold medals in Olympics, its immaterial. No one gives a * abt canoe sprint or equestrian dressage or skateboarding.. Lol
