The variation in pitches, the grounds, the decent weather in summer and the support for India in Australia, makes Australia the perfect place for cricket.

Yep..  Also pitches are always fair.  They don't do doctoring like other teams. 

 

South Africa is also a fab venue but they do pitch doctoring for SC teams.

I prefer SA more lively pitches and beautiful background , Newlands Cape Town for example. 

 

Crowds are predominantly Africans/locals  and very few Indians so it's a challenge to play against a hostile crowd. 

 

SA also remains the only unconquered region for the ICT where India is yet to win a Test Series.

Even South Africa is guilty of having rains during summers, but not as gloomy as England. Australian summers are proper summers like Indian summers.
