5-6 months into his presidency he was hit by Covid. No cricket for over 6 months. Conducted a successful IPL, team won in australia and then a second covid wave hit him. Moving IPL and WC out of India was the right decision and both seemed planned well in advance so no last min nonsene.

Also do not forget recovery from a cardiac arrest.

I think he has done brilliantly give the hand he was dealt

Did he even do anything unique. Going ahead with IPL despite covid, is something I assume any bcci president would have done. What we're witnessing currently is the first time he is doing something interesting, we'll have to see how the whole saga turns out

For the first time in a long time, i am seeing BCCI beong unprofessional with all the leaks and seeming like it has no power to deal witu a captain. All the recent leaks and attacks on kohli has been PCB level

Moving IPL out of India is a standard procedure that has been done numerous times.

IPL 2020 bio bubble was solid but these things are handled by the concerned teams.

As a BCCI president, most of your job is boring, autopilot stuff (considering the organization is a well oiled machine).

Your mettle is tested when important decisions need to be taken.

So what exactly has Ganguly done till now?

Genuine question. Would love to know.

Cos it feels like Jay Shah is in control and Ganguly is just a puppet.
