Legendary Cricket Coach - Tarak Sinha passes away at 71

Sad news.. Tarak Sinha the legendary cricket coach who founded the Sonnet Cricket Club in Delhi passed away this morning after a battle with cancer. He coached and mentored many Indian cricketers who played for the national team including Shikhar Dhawan, Ashish Nehra, Manoj Prabhakar, Rishabh Pant and Anjum Chopra.

Om Shanti Ustaad Ji. A legendary figure in Delhi cricket. Was always available to help young kids especially those with limited resources. He turned around fortunes of so many individuals and also cricket teams. Turned PGDAV College in Nehru Nagar a sought after destination for so many young cricketers from Delhi. Ustadji was the one with real midas touch. Whichever team he coached, saw it emerge much stronger. 

 

You will be missed Tarak Sir.
