Hey doesn't India need a left arm pace bowler, and a handy bat down the order?  Look at how long Australia persisted with Mitch Marsh.

There is nothing wrong with that. Dhawan has been a clutch player for us in ICC tournaments and he is still good. With IPL, a lot of players aren’t necessarily dieing to play for India. 
 

Preparing new team and youngsters shouldn’t be confused with not giving respect to senior players.
