Highly mediocre match between two average sides. Pakistan are truly openers or bust.

Naa , pakistan bat very deep  infact if anything they underutilized the batting in that semi vs australia .

Muhammad wasim who was batting at 10 is a six hitter.

Middle order is pretty mediocre though..   Won't work in Australia next year.

It'll be a different middle order for Australia. Khushdil won't be playing , Iftikhar is a very good hitter of pace , maybe they will take him to Australia. He hits a really long ball , but is like 65 years old tho

Haider is fine, he needs some time to develop and improve shot selection. Fakhar also comes handy, specially when he needs to step up.

Malik is far too old now and can only bash spin.

Ideally, i'll have Nawaz playing higher in the order because he has been hitting it very clean lately.

Ifti chacha is very poor.

Even Asif Ali is better.

Yes , Haider is the future, Ifti Chacha has power and a good record against pace

Yes, middle order is minnow standard, this guy Khusgid is good against minnows only , same is true for  old man Iftikhar chacha , alongwith Malik and Hafeez. Pakistan needs to try some younger batsmen, they cannot be worst than this oldies minnow bashers. I still have hopes from Haide Ali but he keeps on throwing all the chances.

Iftikhar has looked mediocre in Pak team performance wise...  Has been dropped as well.  Haider in fact is suited better against Pace.

They should invest in Haider & Asif Ali only.

Fakhar is inconsistent but a big match player

Bangladesh lost this match just the way they lost the match against Lanka in WC. Too busy in fulfilling match ups & didn't bowl the leggie at all.

Yeah that leggie in fact did well in India when BD toured.  Guess Bangla boys don't trust leg spinners & rely on finger spin mostly.  They don't have produced many either.

Iftikhar chacha is good against the medium pace , less than 135 kph , anything more than 140 kph is too much for his old reflexes . Same is the case for his his age group batsmen, Malik and Hafeez.
