Awasthi is quick too. Must be high 130s to low 140s.

But Awasthi got a late debut. Mumbai must have more quick bowlers like him lost in the system. States like UP and Rajasthan have different system. They identify and prefer quick bowlers. 

 

I have high hope from Divyanshu Singh from Mumbai, 6 foot 5 fast bowler, bowls with effort. No idea why he is missing u19 cooch Behar and u19 WC squad unless he is injured. Another quick guy Zaid Patankar from u19 too. He too should be playing for India u19 at this point.

Mumbai have a lot of quick bowlers in leagues, players from the suburbs always find it tough to get in the squad, cricket in Mumbai as always been dominated by south and central Mumbai, even Royston Dias is not to bad, in the 90s Mumbai had ankola, kuruville, agarkar, then zak

Chirag Jani has taken 5 wickets this season. He is a quick scoring batsmen too..

Kuruvile was quick when young during 92-93 season, Zak learnt all his cricket in Mumbai under Sudhir naik, couldn't get into the Mumbai team then hence mkvrf to baroda, kuruvile at 6'5" bowling 126-130kph was still good enough and troubled even Lara and co.

shall we say it’s the skill of the batsmen which is bad or the skill of the bowler which is good that even at 120 he is ripping batting sides apart.. it’s quite strange..

 

By the way, the runup & action are not bad.. looks like he is more than 120 but never seen him so can’t say..

That's the key word. him being unfit siting out has happened more than the other way around, reality is he is unfit for allrounder job. Rest all things are immaterial and good for dream weaving.

DOn't read too much into it. Very short career so far. Probably first big outing.  Let us wait and see how often he does it to see if he is good or   a random guy having a lucky day
