What a finish by Sharukh Khan.  66 in 35 balls 6x4s 5x6s.  Sundar made a sedate 34 in 58 balls. 3 for 60 in 9 overs.  Sandeep warrier is playing for TN? Interesting.

shahrukh seems to have played well. the little I have seen, he reminds me of yusuf pathan a bit: limited technique, good temperament, immense power. if he could improve both his batting and his bowling, he could make a push for no.6 in LOIs

I like the look of Tilak Varma, Classy Left hander who bats in the top order & bowls off spinners too , he has scored a lot in the SMAT trophy at an impressive strike rate. Hopefully he soon gets into the reckoning & in the radar of national selectors, he with Jaiswal / Paddikal will be the next in line of top order batsmen india will have to groom and rely on

Ruturaj is in red hot form.  So many potentially good players are available. Accommodating is going to be the challenge we have here.

The way Ruturaj  maneuvers the field is impressive especially those inside out cover drive. Also he consistently sweeps medium pacers.  He did against Bumrah in the final. It will be hard to set fields if he can exploit the field like this.

IIRC He used to score quick runs often for India u19.  Was waiting to see how he goes in FC Cricket.

Venky Iyer is a mouther watering prospect for India. Slightly lesser version of Irfan pathan as he is not as good as Irfan as a bowler.  Irfan could bat literally anywhere the line up from 1 to 11. Venky seems to be capable of that as well. Having a floater who can strike the ball big is invaluable. If he can bowl and field okay then it is a bonus.

irfan was primarily a bowler who belatedly started to bat more in the Chappati era. Iyer is a batsman who bowls to some degree. two very diff cricketers in my book.
