I'm planning on opening with Root(he's a good part offie too) and Hussey as they both are a solid number 3 with a bit of experience as openers in test level.. Although they're not my initial choice as I'd Hayden and Sehwag in my mind but I was too late in picking them

My team, apart from a few adjustments here and there, is already planned including the schedule of the picks. Obviously, I have picked the best high SR batsmen and game changers in Tests in Sehwag, Pietersen, and Gilchrist, and a pace battery of Cummins, who is as good as Lillee and McGrath in an Aus ATG 11 setup but can bat too, Bond and Akhtar (the fastest bowling attack that can swing, reverse swing, york, bounce, etc.). Add to that the solidity of Gavaskar, probably the best test batsman since 1970, and the freak off-spin of Murali. Edited December 18, 2021 by zen

zen Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 (edited) 15 minutes ago, Chakdephatte said: By the way, how did you decide the batting order for JaFanatic? Roughly based on his picks ... But that team has many players playing out of the regular positions for e.g. a couple of #3 in Sangakkara & Ponting; 3 #4s in Root, Tendulkar, & YK, who batted at #3 too; and so on ... so the batting order can be anything Of course, with only 2 bowlers picked so far, that team will need to focus on picking bowlers now Some of teams appear to have gone on ATG players shopping (this is not a ATG 11 thread) when in a test draft the first goal should ideally be to have a vision of the type of cricket you want your team to play and fill the positions accordingly! You only, took two of the players I thought I would pick in first 3 rounds. I still don't who I will choose in next round as Adamanant and Ritter stole my players.
