Majestic Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 With a forecast of rain tomorrow, India will have to score runs a bit quicker. The pitch has quickened a bit and there is assistance for seamers but the outfields are fast too. India had collapse today so every chance that they can have it again but if they have to declare, at what point and at what runs they will make this call?

I6MTW Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 SA will bat after India either declare or get all out.
G_B_ Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 I think India will reach around 130 to 140ao They will need around 70 overs to get CSA all out.
Sandeep99 Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 In a way it’s good to collapse just like the first innings. The advantage is two fold. We will get sufficient time to get them out. Collapse means the pitch is juicy enough to wreck havoc on them.

Clarke Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 75 runs in each of the first two sessions gets us to a lead of around 300. Four sessions with 2 new balls in case of no weather interruptions & 60 overs in case 2 sessions are lost due to weather.
