When will SA bat again?

With a forecast of rain tomorrow, India will have to score runs a bit quicker.

The pitch has quickened a bit and there is assistance for seamers but the outfields are fast too. India had collapse today so every chance that they can have it again but if they have to declare, at what point and at what runs they will make this call?

they won't declare, because they'll be all out for 120-140. however, if they had to declare, they should make another 180 runs in 50-55 overs and declare. that will give us ~40 overs tomorrow, and perhaps around 30-40 overs on day 5 (since there can be windows on day 5 when play is feasible).

In a way it’s good to collapse just like the first innings. The advantage is two fold. We will get sufficient time to get them out. Collapse means the pitch is juicy enough to wreck havoc on them.

I think India will reach around 130 to 140ao

They will need around 70 overs to get CSA all out.

We'll declare

75 runs in each of the first two sessions gets us to a lead of around 300. Four sessions with 2 new balls in case of no weather interruptions & 60 overs in case 2 sessions are lost due to weather.
