Real McCoy Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 It was a great series for Pujara in 18-19. Why would you need to re-evaluate his performance in that tour More importantly it was not the "pujara series". It was India's series If not for Bumrah and Shami, it would be another battathon drawn/lost series. The series was played on flat pitches and Aussies were missing their two main batters for sandpapergate and the rest of their lineup were totally sh1t. Cummins at 8 scored more runs than some of their frontline batters However, Pujara did his job especially in the first test when on a good batting wicket we were 30-4 and 100-6 and CDP played a classic 100 that put India with a decent total. He did suck blood out of Aussie bowlers albeit on belters. Well done. I appreciate his performance in that series. But that is where it ends. He did nothing much after that. He should move to transylvania and appear as dracula for halloween trick or treats. Frustrated, raki05 and sarcastic 2 1
