It's becoming a repeat offence. They tested positive before they joined the bubble. They were not in bubble when they got tested. Tested before joining the team.

With omicron spreading fast in India, every one is getting infected. It's unstoppable. Players were not in bubble and testing were done before entering the bubble. WI landed today only. Indians were tested 3 days in a raw from 31st. This series will be full of Covid positives as India is hotbed at this point.

Might end up playing some match losing knocks too at that position but if it fits well it is great. Problem is that you can't play Sundar at 5 as long as you have a top 4 of Rohit, Dhawan, Kohli and Rahul. It is saddening but there has been no learning, no change in flavour for Indian ODI cricket since 2019 World Cup. Now, perhaps the time is over to try Sundar in 2022 at the middle order position because to have Sundar, you need an aggressive bat( Kishan or Shaw) at the top rather than Dhawan and that won't change now.
