Australia name full-strength squad for Pakistan tour

I think this is going to be very tough for pakistan tbh. Maybe 1 0 Pakistan? Do you think it will be turners or slow flattish decks? Slow flattish may suit Australian batsmen.

Last time Aussies faced pakistan they had none of these following players playing;

Cummins

Hazlewood

Steven Smith

Warner (useless anyway in asia)

Green (untested)

 

So 3 main players. Maybe 4.

 

Pakistan were missing:

Shaheen

Hasan (good bowler in sub continent)

shafique

Ashraf

fawad 

 

Very tough to split the two. I predict 1 0 pakistan.

 

2-1 india win vs Aussies after. It will be tough because will be super motivated to beat us.

I think Aussies are well prepared whatever challenge Pakistan would throw for them . Then have better spinners and fastmen . Pakistan's top order is weak, particularly due to Azhar being their. I predict 1-0 or 2-0 in favor of Australia .

Nha I think you are underestimating pakistan. All trolling and banter aside, I do believe pakistan have talented players. Especially for Asian conditions. I back them to beat most sides at home. First step to become a great team is to dominate at home. Apart from kiwi loss a few years back, don't think pakistan have lost much at home. 

 

I agree though, pace wise aussie attack may look better but are they? Check averages of hazlrwood and Cummins in Asia, it's not so great. 

 

Spin? I am not familiar with spinners like sajid khan? Is he any good? 

 

But for batting,I really do believe pakistan has good quality batsmen for Asian conditions. In saying that, they are facing the walking God I.e. Smith. 

When Smith is in God mode, it's equivalent to having 3 players. In saying that, he has averaged 39 since joffra hurt him badly. Averaged 39.5 vs India in Australia and 40 odd vs Kiwis. Very unlike Smith. 

 

Based on these facts, I predict 1 0 pakistan.

It is still not done. Even if they have plans not to come, it has to be played out like NZ and Eng.

I think Aus will get rolled 3-0, their players barring Smith have been very poor in subcontinent tours. Labu hasn’t batted in Asia. Prolly the only edge they have is that Lyon is more experienced than Pak spinners

26 Englishmen and many Aussies are playing in PSL, David Gower is there too as commentator. 2-3 Coaches are from England.
