That means only their record and not the ability is considered. Good because else someone could've picked Maxwell-Yuvi and claim it to be a great team.  

 

But we also need to consider if everyone is playing at his best position or not. For example, feel Kohli as opener is a lot better than than him at 3.

Maxi and Yuvi both have good IPL records and at least 2 or 3 good seasons in their careers. Even Gilly-Symo have 3 IPL centuries between them

Maxi when performed has had great impact, also with maxi what has worked is when he has had good players at other end and when everything falls on him alone he struggles
