Indian attack reigns supreme. Batting let's us down every time and sometimes 40 year old shami who needs a recharge after every test or a break. 

Indian batting is another issue altogether lol. Indian batting sucks donkey balls. That I agree with.

i do not say that only Pace matters but line n length is not a difficult thing - in club cricket , i can show you many guys who bowl just short of good length and thats a good length but once we batsman know they are slow , we stand a yard outside and start picking those balls from there, so only pace pushes the batsman behind and on defensive. never mind no point argueing....i just want he is good in line length n pace as Boom is .....

get out of this club cricket logic. In international cricket players dont fear pace anymore...................recently ireland smashed umran and scotland smashed lockie and these are minnows

Club level cricketers cant play pace thats why they remain at club level 

Someone like kohli use to stand out of crease for someone like Johson and players like butler bmac use to play dilscoop to these guys...............

 

Yes pace gives and extra edge but so does swing, seam or turn but nothing matters if u dont get the length right. 

Yes u cant teach pace and line n length can be improved but then stand ur logic aswell coz avesh didnt get slaughtered becoz of pace..........he got slaughtered bcoz of poor length 

 

Line n length is not difficult ?? Yet it goes wrong every day.............margin of error in LOI is so limited now that u cant make even slightest of error . That extra pace wont make any difference if u dont get length right. 

 

The entire criticism of avesh pace is so flawed...........tell me that when he is bowling impeccable line n length batsman are running down the pitch and turn those good length into bad ones

Prasidh tyagi avesh should all be given a whole bunch of games. 3 full series.

first of all he is washed up in ur head like past many claimed here KL, Bhuvi, pandya all were washed up..................abhi koi dikhai nhind deta. Waise hi ye bhi hoga

He is washed up in everyone's head. Only delusional Pakistani fan boys who are phony fan boys anyway and some very delusional Indian fans still believe in him. He is done and dusted for good. He is dead. He is a corpse. He needs to be cut. Permanently. One of the worst falls ever from grace. He had a good peak albeit with a lot of luck. He rarely ever scored in sena where he wasn't dropped or dint give opportunities to opponents to prise his wicket. Smith root are so far ahead of him. It's a joke to even put his name next to those 2 greats. He is at best Kane level. 

 

Bhuvi is washed up in tests now. That's what I said. I just don't like him cause he is a trundler. He is trash when he bowls 120-125. 

Now that he is bowling 133- 138 he looks a lot better. He will be part of our odi and t20 setup. 

I never said paandu is finished. Did I? I never said that. Ever. 

As for kela. He is a total mental midget. He should only bat at 4. He is no good as an opener. Keep opening with him and we will see 10/3 again. This applies to all formats. 

 

It's like investment banking like I said. We don't keep players who don't perform. 1 year is plenty of time to allow for leeway. Get the sack and go away. This isn't a government job. Otherwise stick to t20 franchise leagues. Even there you need to perform or your income drops. Kphli won't even get into many ranji teams given his skillset right now. I said right now. Don't bring up his past. I don't give a damn about his past.

When he will reach to his full fitness ?...he played 5 tests in England in 2014 (when he was 24 years old)...barely hitting 121 kph by the last session.

 

After that most of the time he is excused from tests because of his poor fitness, since 2017 he is unfit ? Because that's the excuse given for his every non performance. Was he unfit when he was smashed for 100+ runs in ODI ??

 

Umesh Yadav for his lack of control has given more match winning performance with the ball in Tests. Shami who debuted along with him has trumped him in 2 out of 3 formats, and here we are waiting for last 4-5 years for Bhuvi to regain his peak fitness.

Players don't fear pace. But they fear bounce. 100% bounce is dangerous to anyone. Hard hitting bounce based bowlers who can vary their lengths based on where batsmen stand will be the most dangerous bowler every time. 

 

No one likes playing disconcerting bounce. Not Smith. Not root snd not coolie. 

Coolie is good vs bounce but now even that vanishing rapidly. 

 

Mcgrath would literally rape all these batsmen with disconcerting bounce on any pitch that offers a bit of assistance. Literal molestation.

How long should I wait for him to reach peak fitness lol? He was bowling like 125 not too long ago. Only recently upped his pace. He was injury prone. He missed so many test series'. 

Missed kiwi series. Missed England series twice. 

He is useless in Australia but that's fine. We needed him badly in tests for sen conditions but it dint happen. 

 

Someone bowling sub 135 shouldn't be injured so often.

Umesh yadav has only performed in india that to test...............in LOI he doesnt even have a place forget comparing to bhuvi

also their is nothing called magic in fitness................injuries take their own time and specially every body is different

Many cricketers missed a lot of domestic in last 2 yrs due to pandemic ...............no one gets match fit sitting on bench 

 

Its not just bhuvneshwar many cricketers around the world have had careers filled with injuries. As of now his fitness allows him to play one format he is playing that and performing .

Exactly, and for those who think 150+ at any length is difficult to negotiate; need to stand and face tennis serves from decent club level chaps (180-200 kmph) to know what quick means.

Bumrah can generate steep bounce in form. Rabada can. Cummins can. No one else can do it consistently.
