Srilanka was losing left/right/center until the last 2 wins. Infact they were humiliated by Afghanistan when they batted first. Same cross batted slogs did not work.  It is obvious that condition change really favored hacks. I still think India could have won purely with better strategy.

On today's match he said "On this pitch, it'll be difficult to chase 140+. But the team that wins the toss should bowl first."  What sense does that make?

Stats don’t lie . Venues which are toss dependent need the timings changed.  
 

good part about an early exit will be that our team will want to prove critics wrong in World Cup . Let’s just hope no t20 in dubai anymore .

We were 10 runs short. Last 2-3 overs couldn't score much

WC we didnt put enough runs on board. Atleast here we have consistently scored over 175 batting first. That said, batting first is a huge advantage in uae. Every critical encounter in current asia cup was won by team batting second. Go back to wc, pakistan lost semis as soon as they batted first against a decent team.  Except the SA game same was the case with england till they lost toss in semis and were out.

India could still have defended the total if they had one more death bowler. India was a bowler short. Also dropping Bishnoi was a bizarre move. He would have given us 4 bankable overs.

T20 is such a strange version of cricket that imo there is nothing called bankable batsman and bowler however I do get your point. Given Bhuvi went to 19 and 16 runs in 19th over i dont know who else could have done a better job.
