Your love for kohli and his captaincy always shows

Kohli did not play in the second test SA. So don't make it about Kohli .It is about Bumrah who has been unable to do anything when there is pressure. Guess what Bumrah did in a another high pressure match just few months before. He again as usual laid an egg in ICC test finals .

Your precious kohli could have also scored a big 100 and won the 3rd test. His innings of 79 from 200+ balls is one of the most selfish knocks i've seen by an indian batter in the last 20 years or so. Asswipe literally didn't score enough to save his sorry ass as he was out of form.

Kohli didn't do jackshite either in the ICC Finals as well. Atleast bumrah bowled well in the 1st & 2nd test against SA. What did kohli do?

Kohli agreed is dumbshit under pressure. Kohli cannot do anything. What are others doing laying eggs. Series in SA would have been won without Kohli if Bumrah did something.

Whenever a top test playing nation gets bowled out for a sub par total (<150) in India, the pitch usually comes under scrutiny.

Here SA are 100/8..   Mostly will get bundled out below 150, like in the previous test.     But I m sure ICC won't say a word on the pitch.

Same thing keeps happening whenever matches are played in any SENA country.

Mcgrath never swung the ball, still he was great every where. You don't need a swing bowler. What you need is bowlers who don't cave under pressure by trying too hard.

Mcgrath had all the tools in the bag. Remember the test where Australia was defending a meagre 155. Mcgrath was scuffing the ball for vigorously for 2 minutes. Next ball was reversing big time. That was some classical stuff.  His biggest plus is accuracy. And also height. We cannot compare Mcgrath with our bowlers.

Great bowlers take pitches out of equation. Holding took  12 wickets on flattest Oval pitch. Bumrah could not buy a wicket for whole second test. When SA was there for taking.

240 should  have been winning total in second test. Our great guy could not buy a single wicket.

You do realize holding had a great batting unit to support hi

Mcgrath had like the goat batting to support him.

Our batting couldnt also 50 *ing overs in test innings.

Or maybe they used sandpaper. They are Aussies. Convicts for a reason.

Well Mcgrath/Gillespie/Warne couldn't take the pitch out of the equation whole day at the Eden Gardens. At times batsmen can get the better of you.  Genuine outswing bowlers are an amazing asset in SENA conditions.  Bhuvi is probably the closest we have. His record in SA/England is decent.  Sreesanth and Balaji were the last 2 genuine outswing bowlers. Umesh can swing. But he has no real control. India has a bunch of hit the deck bowlers who can easily be negated on certain types of pitches.

Bumrah can be lethal on certain pitches like MCG. In the last 30 years he  has the best test record at the MCG. One point better than Ambrose.

Bumrah has a good record in England though. Even in SA.

But yea in England and n.z you need really good outswing bowlers.

As per Cricviz,  there has never been this much seam movement in the 1st innings of an Oval test , 2nd highest being the Oval pitch we got in the 5th test in 2014 .

Clearly, England tampering the pitches which favour them. :D

Entire English line up is trundling line up.  Mostly operate at early 80 kph.  But varied attack.  All tall. Robinson has today consistently targeted the off stump channel and rewarded.

Who better than exploit such conditions.

Only problem is he will miss out on 5 games, due to injury, for every game that he plays.  (On an average)

And once he regains fitness, he takes ages to get his rhythm back.

It's high time the TM invests in few other pace bowlers who seem to be less injury prone and hv better fitness level.

He missed 80 to 90% of our T20 games. But he still plays the IPL. I am starting to see him skipping bilaterals. It is good from a rest perspective. But getting back into rhythm can be tough like Deepak Chahar is finding now.

That's all you need man.seriiusly. in England n.z and even to an extent SA too. Outside off. Bit of bounce.

Our peak 2018 attack would have raped this team. That attack was insane.

But ICC will keep quiet, as usual.
