3rd is in T20 Wc , just corrected it

Starc is one left arm seamer India has played better.  If Starc can bring the ball back in he would also trigger top order collapse against us.

He can bring the ball back in and has troubled teams like SL- WI- Pak  but he doesnt get that big curve like which aamir, shaheen or boult got even madhushanka now gets. With that movement most right handers will be in trouble and we have fallen under pressure of knockout games so that has proven out to be a deadly combo.

Actually not just us all these teams have played better. If u check last final WC final scorecard against NZ he almost screwed the game for AUS . I think in Semis fakhar bashed him  . In 2014 wc semi final it was yuvraj singh who bashed him

Starc is a wicket taking bowler as Hazelwood is the container.

You will see this in the line and length he bows it compared to Hazlewood.

I would say 50% of wickets Hazelwood gets is because of Starc in the other end.

They complement each other this way.

You bringing your nonsense stats once again misses one key thing. If Starc bowling at pace is not there, AUS would have a one-dimensional pace attack with Cummins and Hazelwood.

The problem Starc has had is death overs bowling. But that's been the issue for all death overs specialists in the past 5 years in T20 - even guys like Boult, Shaheen etc. get hammered in the death. It's an unforgiving game when teams have 6-7 wickets in hand and just go for it in the last 2-3 overs.

Bumrah, Shami, Bhuvi, and even Arshdeep if you put the same amount of games you will see similar stats due to death overs.

This is why guys like Chahar who bowl all 4 overs on the trot are stat padders as their ECO looks great but they never bowl the death overs which is the toughest job to do.

In T20 Zampa is the king against India. Cummins, Hazlewood, Starc they were all taken apart. Trunder like Berhendoff did more damage than these 3. It doesn't matter whether they play together and separately.

boult n shaheen are not good in death

Starc never got massive inswing like those guys but what he could do at his peak was swing it in enough at extremely high speeds. The speeds have been down for 18 months , so he is not as much of a white ball threat anymore.

Where is Pakistsn in the list of opponents ?

Even WI has had good T20I teams, although not this year. But Starc's career spans a decade.

not good players of fast bowling . Even in their best years WI were never good against genuine pace or even their top players like Gayle, russell, pollard .

These are numbers of starc whole career im not talking about just this year

Teams like Ind-SA-ENG- NZ play pace well so real test comes against them

While looking for batting numbers u can look at teams like SL-Pakistan since they have good bowling attacks

still u asked

Against WI - His avg is 25 , eco is 8.78 ( so these are just ok numbers ) .

Actually these numbers just got better in 2022 when WI have their worst batting if not for this yr his numbers wud have been in poor category . So its 2022 WI side that saves his number that to just 2 games

Before 2022 against WI - avg was 36 and eco 9.09 (not at all good)

Against Pakistan- His avg is 14.3 , Eco 6.26 ..................Its pakistan where his numbers get good and they do not play pace well

Whats his pace in last 2 yrs ???

I dont think his pace has gone down that much but its his execution of yorkers that has . Pace may have gone down 5k but that will happen at latter stage of career which is where one needs to develop variations

Pave decline of 5ks is actually massive. I don't think he bowled anything above 145 kph today. Back in 2015, he was pushing 155 kph.

One has to choose the good teams if some sub-classification has to be made of stats.

Throughout his career, Starc rarely bowled anything above 150 k or 151 k in most matches. But he bowled lots of 145 k to 150 k balls.

And even in last year's T20 WC, he was in the 138 k to 148 k range. Bowled quick in the Ashes too and hit high 140s.
