He is also a guy in favor of strategies. Strategy has to be backed either by observation or stat. Dhoni bringing on Ashwin against Gayle those days purely based on observation. If you check stat it is most likely will align with the observation.  Indian top order vs left handed seamers. Your observation is in sync with stats.  These are all easy things.  Not everything can be observed and remembered. That is where stats can help a bit. YOu don't have to literally follow it. Gather the stats, Digest it. And make your plan accordingly.

Exactly, some “experts “ here think that coaches and their assistants go through these articles. If they are, then their salaries are a waste. These are read by Sam junta so they sound intelligent in cocktail parties.

Santner + Sodhi = 8-0-60-4  . Warner getting out played a big part in this.  They go at 7.5 an over defending 10 an over.

yup Aus biggest strength is warner , if he bats through the innings or half way he ll nulllify SLA or Leggies like he did last year in UAE

Its warner and then wade , all righties in between and wade also enjoys pace more then spin . In most analysis the 1st point to take down aus is to take down warner 

Aussies massively rely on warner thats why he was backed big time last Wc when he was coming from a patchy form
