I think this non-stop hitting approach is counter-productive in Australia. Only NZ has pulled it off so far thanks to Finn Allen and percentage cricketer conway

Yes. But still worth a try with an opener. If it works great, otherwise consolidation required in the middle anyways

Brainless from SL, the pitch is not easy to bat on. 160 would have been a good score, the par scores from pointless bilaterals in the past is pretty useless.
