How did Dravid get so overrated as coach and pull wool over our eyes?

I think the selection under Dravid/Rohit has been far more consistent than previous TM. Take Suryas case for eg, I bet he would never have settled under Virat/Shastri.

Complete lack of flexibility from TM, if Pant's role was to target Rashid why not send him ahead of SKY or even Patel could have been sent

The master coach who got us 152-0 trashing does even better 169-0. If I was Dravid I will resign. He is an ATG, I hope he does the right thing. 
 

get someone who understands the modern game to coach us.

Like Kl & Rohit are killing it. Of course you will have issues with talent that is coming up. 
 

you give them exposure to international cricket & hope they grow. Rather than giving KL infinity + 1 chances.

He does not pick the team. Selectors and captain do.

I guess at the U-19 level players are more motivated, Dravid probably has better control with the players in awe working with a legend, he has no stars to worry about ultimately easier to chose who you think is the best.
