Indian captaincy blunders tracker (ODIs, tests and T20’s)

Since yesterday felt like a start of a new era thought good time to start a thread to track some big time captaincy blunders. Some might be catastrophic and some might escape with a close shave like  for example Rahul’s captaincy  in Bangladesh or Hardik’s decision to bowl Axar yesterday could have been bad but it was a close shave.

Ya i never thought mediocre players like k l and fracture bandya would get india captaincy. I mean we have rich history of greats like Kapil, Sunny, Sachin (mediocre captain), Ganguly, Kumble,Dravid Dhoni , Kohli even Rohit  donning captaincy jersey and now we have these fattu and chapri kind of players getting Indian captaincy

Exactly, we are not some SL Pak or NZ to give captaicy to such players it’s a sad situation

Can’t blame captain for indiscipline in bowling but should have bowled an extra over or used Hooda as spinners were doing well for at least 1 over. More emotions than strategy but still young days.

Last match he gave last over to Axar and in this match when he already knew Arshdeep has bowled crap he could have bowled one over. I know it's biletral but you can't do such holler in biletral as well. Giving youngsters bowling or promoting youngster at batting is one thing but making stupid decisions when match is on the line is not at all commendable.
